Approached by a client wishing to build a fully wheel chair accessible dwelling we undertook a full appraisal of both the site and the brief.

Working closely with the client we developed a number of options which created a dwelling for a growing family that also enabled full wheel chair access through out.

Utilising the topography of the site and the existing buildings on site we were able to create a new dwelling which was not only in the curtilage of a Grade II listed farm house but on the edge of Green Belt.

 

Using a simple palette of materials, natural stone, corten and steel, the designs reflect the agricultural setting which helps the dwelling sit harmoniously within its surroundings.
