Planning approval was granted for the extension to an existing Grade II listed barn and conversion of attached stable into a self-contained annex.

 

The proposals create a new formal entrance, office, garage and ancillary accommodation contained in a contemporary designed ‘barn’ linked to an existing set of Grade II listed barns and stables via a new glazed link.

 

The design and massing reflects the rural setting with materials chosen to purposefully contrast with the existing brick barns accentuating the hierarchy.
